One of the concepts that Google developed and that has to be part of the culture of any start-up and company that want to keep its competitiveness is the 70-20-10.
Even though is a concept that has been widely spread and consist of the way a person must distribute his or her time, since I’ve explained this so many times to the people that work with me I found a metaphor that I always use and that I would like to share it with you:
• The basic concept is to dedicate 70% to the daily tasks of your work
If you work in a wood company and your job is to cut trees down, 70% of your time should be dedicated to chopping trees.
