The most innovative local developments on design and Internet have their space to compete:  on its second consecutive year Grupo Siete Contenidos and Green Tara present Influencias, el Premio Argentino a la Innovación (the Argentine award to Innovation), a contest to stand out those projects that go outside the box on this fields, and that have been produced by local talents.

There are four categories for design and three for Internet which try to reward the most outstanding projects from the local production:

Design

·    Product and clothes (for professionals)

·    Product and clothes prototypes (students)

Internet

·    Online Services

·    Online Advertising

·    Blogs

This year I’ve been honored to be a member of the jury for the Internet category, together with some recognized professionals on this field in Argentina: Mariano Amartino (consultant, entrepreneur,blogger, General Director of Hipertextual and one of the 2.0 local celebrities), Fernando Barbella (Interactive Creative Director of  BBDO Argentina) and Omar Arab (MD & CEO of Módena Technologies).

In the Design category, Guillermo Tragant (Estudio Furia), Mariano Toledo(designer), Enrique Avogadro (General Director of Industria Creativas y Comercio Exterior del GCBA) and Carolina Muzi (journalist, teacher and curator) will be in charge of selecting the best jobs.

Registration, available in the contest website, will be open until July 30th and the preselected ones will be announced on September 1st. The award ceremony will take place on September 14th.

Winners will receive an award and their job will be published in Influencias, Guía de la Innovación en Argentina, which will be launched during the award ceremony.

Los ganadores recibirán una estatuilla y su trabajo se publicará en Influencias, Guía de la Innovación en Argentina, cuya presentación se realizará durante el evento de premiación.
