Con un poco de creatividad , con minimos recursos, utilizando internet como amplificador de esas ideas reclutando una comunidad se puede lograr movilizar gente en todo el mundo.
Este es un ejemplo de lo que ocurrio en NY hace 10 dias:
Esto que nacio como una broma ¨creativa¨, con el ambicioso fin de mejorar la calidad de vida global, fue creciendo y desarrollando una comunidad basada en Ning llamada improve everywhere (mejoremos todos los lugares) actualmente redefinida como The Urban Pranster Network con grupos en cientos de ciudades
El sabado 19 de enero del 2009 cerca de 2500 personas se quitaron lo pantalones en el subte en 22 ciudades del mundo:

En solo en nueva york se sumaron 1200 personas y genero un efecto muy importante de cobertura en muchos medios y el activismo 2.0 que replica los efectos en redes sociales portales, blogs (como este), mashups , emails y cuanto recurso de internet sea util para amplificar la viralidad.
De estas estas practicas para crear mobs, los marketineros y creativos tenemos muchas lecciones que aprender sobre el uso de los medios, la simpleza de la creatividad, el componente de humor e innovación, y mas importante la manera de lograr involucrar y movilizar gente.

hola ariel. me pasan muchas cosas con los mobs, la verdad tengo sentimientos encontrados. por un lado veo el video y que 2500 personas se pongan en calzones (asi como 1500 luchen con almohadas) me parece la pelotudez más grande (o casi) que se puede hacer en el mundo.
obvio que el elemento que admiro es cómo hacer que tal cantidad se presente (a semejante pelotudez).
la gran inquietud que tengo -puede ser un prejuicio- es que cuando un mob esta asociado a una marca, no tiene tanto exito espontaneo, porque genera un poco de rechazo que haya una marca atras. aunque, no se los doritos en el planetario quizas salten a decirme lo contrario. que se yo.

Hola Molmi!
Creo los mob son un muy buen ejemplo de construcción de comunidad, que llega a movilizar gente. Pero tambien hay otros ejemplos menos creativos o mas productivos, como hace Nike para juntar a miles de personas que salgan corriendo por la calle durante nada menos que 10 kilomentros… bajo e nombre de maraton o media maraton o 10k, no deja de ser tan asombroso como juntar gente para no hacer nada…
